He was unlucky in dying not only young, but also within days of both Hendrix and Janis Joplin, and has been rather overlooked. Baby Huey was a 300 pound plus soul dude nurtured and produced by Curtis Mayfield. An awesome talent who never made it to stardom thanks to his weight and drugs.

The album features killer psych-funk in Hard Times, soul-pop joy in Mighty Mightyand a truly mindblowing version of Sam Cooke's Change is Gonna Come.
